Two different birds taken on two different days. If you look closely, you can see the signature white band at the tip of their tails.

Spotted just outside of our hotel room at Grotto Bay, Bermuda.
The far away and the zoomed crop – same bird. This is a snowy owl seen at Orient Beach State Park in Orient, NY.
We were about 100 yards from this guy on a boat. He was nearly as interested in us as we were in him.
The gray ones are Heermann’s Gulls; the one on the ground with the pink legs is a Western Gull, I believe (hard to tell from this angle).
